Welcome to the website for Crest Nicholson’s East Street Regeneration in Farnham.

The East Street area is located between the Conservation Area and the leisure centre, with the Woolmead to the north and river to the south.

The East Street Regeneration project will transform this largely neglected area into an attractive pedestrian quarter for Farnham, with a new town square at its heart, large areas of gardens and open space and a range of shops, cafés, restaurants, a cinema and new homes.

This website shows the current masterplan and images of the buildings. The updated application includes restoring Brightwell House, more parking and the addition of a car club.

The façade treatment across the scheme has been further developed and improved, including refinement of height, rhythm of the rooflines, as well as detailing to further incorporate local materials and features and integrate the development into the rest of the town. Spaces for public art have also been designed into the fabric of some buildings.

A new, state-of-the-art community centre will replace the oversubscribed Gostrey Centre, providing an important venue in the heart of the town.

Crest Nicholson sees this area as a chance to revitalise this important part of the town, and create a real sense of place for everyone.
New cafés and restaurants - including two new restaurants in the fully refurbished and restored Brightwell House - will complement the new leisure and shopping environment.
